This had made walking my 100# dog enjoyable
My dog is reasonably well behaved but the instant he sees another dog when we're out walking he pulls so hard I'm afraid he's going to damage my shoulders. I tried several different anti-pulling harnesses and collars and this one worked perfectly! At one point I tried the Gentle Leader head collar but my dog hated having something on his face so this harness version was much better for him. Since the leash attaches at the dog's chest and contracts if the dog pulls there are two benefits: (1) When the dog pulls the harness contracts around the front legs making walking awkward so it breaks their attention on whatever they were pulling towards and (2) since the leash attaches at the chest when the dog pulls it snaps him around to face you which gives you a chance to correct him and redirect his attention. Ultimately the dog's weight works against him versus the owner having to pull back. Now when my dog sees another dog and goes to pull he immediately stops and rethinks that move since he's instantly pulled around to face me without me having to do anything at all. A wonderful tool!

Set doesn't live up to KitchenAid standards.
I got a set just like this as a Christmas gift two years ago. I'm a fan of KitchenAid and I have a lot of appliances and gadgets from them but this particular set was a disappointment... maybe I just got a "lemon".
Within less than 6 months of use the nonstick coating on both pans started to chip off forming a couple of unsightly "holes" on the surface of the pans leaving me wondering if my family is ingesting tiny pieces of that coating with pancakes and omelets... The pans have never gone in the dishwasher (even though it says "dishwasher safe") and I only use wooden and silicone spatulas with them. I ended up throwing the two pans away shortly after since I didn't have a receipt or keep the warranty paperwork for it. The sauté pan while still in use and with the nonstick coating intact got warped after about a year balancing itself on one middle point on my flat top range... On the positive side the pots are still fine but I don't use them much the handles are very comfortable and the color adds to a cheerful kitchen.
Bottom line it's a nice "pretty" set but if you plan to actually cook in it I would not recommend it based on the experience I had with it.

Price value good but you can see why people LOVE Le Creuset.
The price can't be beat! $45 with free shipping is a great value regardless of what I write in this review. I was excited to open the box and loved the color immediately! I continued to be impressed by the weight of the pot. But after completely un packing I placed the lid on the pot and looked at my wife and said this is why a Le Creuset is $245 and this was only $45. The lid does not seal tightly and you need to rotate the lid to find the position where it seals best though it's still not 100% closer to 90%.
Would I buy it again? Probably. Would I have bought it in a store where the faults were clear before making the decision to purchase? Probably not. I just cannot justify the $200+ dollars for the "real deal".
I hope this helpful.
UPDATE: After using this dutch oven many times for a variety of dishes I would increase my rating to 4 stars. The initial dissappointment of the ill fitting lid has faded and what remains is a pot that does its job well and even out on my bakers rack next to a Le Creuset holds its own in terms of looks.

Boston Red Sox Fathead
This decal is beautiful on my son's freshly painted navy blue wall! The decal was very easy to place on the wall free of wrinkles. It doesn't show any signs of "unsticking" or peeling off of the wall.

Mitts Like A Glove!
*Way* more flexible than the Orkas I tried out in a local kitchen store and slightly less expensive. With their cloth interiors they seem to grip to your hand better rendering a more secure feeling all the while providing adequate thermal resistance. They're long enough to provide good distal forearm protection (better than our previous all cloth model) and easy to clean up especially if you keep the inner linings grease free. I specifically purchased the 'electric blue' version to ensure compatibility with our electric oven and have not been disappointed (kidding... just KIDDING!(heh!))!

Not sexy but functional and dishwasher durable
We have used these glasses daily for several years for casual drinking. We have tall tippy more stylish ones for showy dinner parties that require hand washing. These in contrast not only fit the hand well but also the top shelf of the dishwasher and after countless cycles they are still shiny (not acquiring the "foggy" etched surface that all of our previous glasses did). This purchase was to replace broken glasses and to expand the collection. The size is an acceptable compromise for red and white wines but we prefer the Reidel Ouverture Magnums for reds. They too have proven to be dishwasher durable. A great product.

Best Indoor grill
I love this grill. I spent a lot of time researching indoor grills before I decided on the Minden. Make sure you heat up the grill very well before you put things on it.
Pros: -The food comes out tasting just like you had grilled it outside.
-Easy cleaning. Dishwasher safe and or pop in your self cleaning oven.
Cons: -The lid is not high enough. When I try to finish artichokes on the grill the lid is to small to cover them.
-It can create a lot of smoke and flare ups. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have lots of windows.

Versatile
This is indeed a large pot but I have found it extremely useful and use it at least once a week. I didn't want a large number of pots and pans so I looked for versatile pieces. We are just 2 in our household right now but I bought this size mostly because it will be even more useful for the future - a family company. I use it to cook many things that I start on the stovetop and finish in the oven. For example to brown chicken pieces on the stovetop add herbs ingredients etc and bake it in the oven. The heavy tight fitting lid keeps the steam locked in and the food moist. I bake entire chickens in it when I am short on time (skin isn't very crispy though)- it really cooks a whole 4-lb chicken in about half an hour at 450 degrees with the pot and oven preheated. Works great with chili soups beans tomato-based sauces even jams. The cast iron heats slow and holds heat in - I don't burn anything in this. Clean-up is so easy!
